Q. What documents do I need when I sit my test?
A. Both parts of the new style licence, or old style paper licence and a passport. Theory pass certificate. Appointment letter.
Q. Do the examiners have a pass quota?
A. Absolutely not!!! If you are good enough, you will pass.
Q. Can I appeal against the result of my test?
A. No. You can appeal against the way the test was carried out. But, not the result.
Q. Will I be told straight away if I have passed or not?
A. Yes you will.
Q. I've heard that the examiners are really mean. Is that true?
A. No. The very opposite infact.
Q. If I meet Frank in a pub. What should I do?
A. Buy him a drink!!! But don't ask him to dance or sing. He can't do either. It' quite embarrassing really.
Q. Should my instructor shout at me if I get something wrong?
A. No way whatsoever. If you make a mistake. You are paying your instructor to teach you how to drive properly. Not to shout at you.
Q. What if I crash the car. Will I have to pay for it?
A. Don't worry. Your instructor will not let you into that situation. If the unfortunate does happen. The car is insured and you will not have to pay anything.
Q. Will my instructor be punctual?
A. Your instructor will endeavour to arrive for your lesson on time and give you the full time you have booked with him. If he is late. it will be for a very good reason and he will try to contact you as soon as practically possible.
